What's the catch?
No Catch! Seriously, we have built the Tour in order to allow up and coming musicians play at every possible show across the nation. We are convinced that there is no better social scene than the college Greek community. The Founders of The Sorority & Fraternity Tour love bringing music back to the place where it all started, and would love to play for your house! Back to Top
What is The Sorority Tour?
The Sorority Tour brings up and coming musicians to Sorority houses across the nation. Imagine seeing the next Dave Matthews or Jack Johnson up close and personal, live at your house.
These events are one of a kind, and mix music with hilarious “behind the scenes” storytelling, to ensure that every member will leave as a fan.
This is the ideal sisterhood, philanthropy, and bid day event.
The student organizers of the Tour will have the unique opportunity to build their resume as they work with major corporate sponsors, such as Oakley to throw a private concert (with a nationally touring artist) for their chapter.
The Sorority & Fraternity Tour delivers a full entertainment experience and aides the chapters’ social chairs in throwing the best events possible.
In addition, we will work with every chapter’s budget to make a show happen. Back to Top
What do I need to do to make this show a great experience for my house?
The most important thing you can do is get the girls excited about the show! By building a good buzz around the concert, the turnout will be strong and the event will be a success. Here are a few ideas that we've found quite effective in promoting sorority shows.
1. Form a small team of girls responsible for promoting the concert
2. Consider making the concert a sisterhood event
3. Post fliers(We provide the fliers for FREE) in high traffic areas (chapter room, kitchen/dining areas, front door)
4. Create a facebook and/or myspace event/group
5. Email all the girls in the house with show info and links to Kelley's website and mypace page
6. Hang signs outside the house Back to Top
What happens on the day of the show?
The Artist and his Tour Manager will arrive at the house 2 hours before the arranged show time to set-up. We will need a point person at the house to help finalize the performance location and answer general questions. Back to Top
What is the set-up like?
Each Artist will travel with all of his own equipment. We will need a small performance area cleared and chairs/furniture set-up for the performance. A large room in the house or outdoor area works great!
We ask that you provide the following items:
1. A table to set up CDs and shirts
2. 1 Case of bottle waters
3. A $40 meal buyout (to cover dinner for the Artist and his Tour Manager) Back to Top
